ELECTIONS TO AS CTU 2022

The Academic Senate of CTU (AS CTU) is a self-governing representative body. Members of the AS CTU actively participate in decision-making about events at the school, e.g. by electing a rector, approving internal regulations, approving the university's budget, etc.

The following are elected to the CTU Academic Senate:
3 representatives from among academic staff with a term of office of 3 years
2 representatives from among students with consecutive terms of two and one year respectively
Students have the opportunity to actively influence events at the faculty and the entire university and to co-decide, in particular, on study matters through student senators.

25.10. – Publication of the election schedule, submission of proposals for candidates
11.11. – The deadline for submitting proposals for candidates
14.11. – Publication of accepted candidates on the FBMI website
22.11. – 24.11. to 12:00 - ELECTIONS
25.11. - Announcement and publication of election results

Proposals and candidates
A member of the academic community can propose a candidate. The candidate's proposal includes:
- Name and surname including titles and unique identification of the applicant (personal identification number)
- Signature of the petitioner
- Name and surname including titles and unique identification of the candidate (personal identification number)
- Consent to the candidacy with the candidate's signature
The candidate prepares a candidate sheet with a maximum size of A4 in height, which contains:
- Name and surname with titles, photo and unique identification of the candidate (personal identification number)
- Information for which chamber the candidate is running for (chamber of students / chamber of academic staff)
- Text with the election program
- Optionally, the candidate can contain the candidate's election password or other additional information.
Candidates should send all required materials in PDF format to the address volby@fbmi.cvut.cz, with the subject line stating "CTU Elections".
Candidates will be published by the electoral commission on the FBMI website, FBMI billboards and FBMI social networks.

Self-promotion of candidates is allowed only outside election days. On election days, the promotion of candidates is managed by the electoral commission!

ELECTIONS
Elections to AS CTU will take place via the central election application, which ensures the secrecy of the election. Log in to the application via SSO (CTU username and password). Each eligible voter can vote only once in one electoral district! Students who are also employees after being dismissed from one electoral district (e.g. employees) will no longer be allowed to vote in the other electoral district (e.g. students).
The central election application can be found on the website volby.cvut.cz
After logging in, click on "Voting List" and select the appropriate voting.
