Participation in the Space4Health workshop
The team of the Biomechanics and Assistive Technologies research group from the Department of Healthcare and Population Protection participated in the Space4Health workshop organized by the Italian Embassy in Prague on 19 April 2024.
The aim of the workshop was to deepen the cooperation between Italy and the Czech Republic in space research. Within the roundtable, Ing. et Ing. Jan Hejda, Ph.D., presented the group's research objective in the field of medical technologies in space. Ing. Petr Volf, Ph.D. and Ing. Marek Sokol presented the current activities of the group related to the field of health in space.
The event was also attended by Italian astronaut Roberto Vittori and Czech member of the astronaut backup team Aleš Svoboda.
