The 29th International Conference POSTER 2025 at CTU FEL on 22 May 2025 was also attended by students of the Bachelor's degree programme Biomedical Technology.
Klára Kozelková: Effect of changes in GABAergic inhibition on the development of tinnitus (placed first in the shared place in the poster competition in the Biomedical Engineering section)
Radek Nejman: Effect of the light conditions on the accuracy of SpO2 measurements (placed second in the shared position in the poster competition in the Biomedical Engineering section)
Jonáš Horák: Variability of perfusion index in selected pulse oximeter models
Matěj Losos: Comparison of perfusion index obtained by smartwatch and pulse oximeter
Martin Šantrůček: Comparison of blood gas analyzers
The conference was also attended by Bc. Adéla Rojíčková, which is also graduate of the Biomedical Technology study programme (supervisor: Dr. Ort) with topic: An active model of the respiratory system as a phantom for the forced oscillation technique.
The above students are thanked for their efforts and representation of the faculty. In particular, the placement of some of them should be appreciated, as this was a competition where both continuing and doctoral students participated, including participation from RWTH Aachen. This is indeed a considerable competition for undergraduate students, and yet selected students of our faculty succeeded in such a strong competition. Thanks also go to their supervisors who motivated them appropriately.
